Group Dog Training Classes
A well-trained dog is truly a happy dog.
Group classes are essential for teaching your dog to stay calm, confident, and well-behaved around other dogs, people, and everyday distractions. Our classes are designed to be fun, interactive, and educational, helping you build strong, reliable obedience skills in real-world environments.
Each course runs for 6 weeks, with one 1-hour class per week.
Puppies must be 16 weeks or older and up to date on vaccinations to enroll (unless enrolling in Young Puppy Socialization).
Registration is required.
Young Puppy Socialization (<20 Weeks) $40 per class
The ideal start for young puppies who are just learning about the world. This class focuses on:

Safe, positive socialization with people, sights, sounds, and friendly dogs

Confidence-building and gentle exposure

Puppy play and manners
-
Early foundation skills (sit, down, name recognition, handling tolerance)

Solutions for common puppy challenges like nipping, jumping, and potty routines
Perfect for puppies who are not yet ready for public environments—this class creates a safe, supportive space for early learning.
Foundations
For dogs of any age who have not had formal training.
This course covers foundational skills including:

Introduction to recall (come)
Beyond Basics
Designed for students who have completed New Student or have equivalent skills.
This class reinforces foundational cues and introduces:

Long-leash exercises (as appropriate for the group)
Prerequisite: Dog must reliably know Down.
Beyond Basics Advanced
This level continues to refine all foundation behaviors and focuses on:

Long-line or tag-line work

Increased distraction work

Advanced real-world reliability and handler confidence
6-Week Series of Group Classes: $360 (Private Clients pay $300)
Single drop-in class (only available to private or former group clients) $70

I Love Dogs, and Training Them!
The first step in our training process is an in-home evaluation. During this visit, we will meet your dog, observe their behavior, and discuss the specific challenges you are facing. This allows us to gain a clear understanding of your goals and provide realistic expectations for what training can achieve. Our priority is to help you and your dog achieve lasting, positive results through a customized training plan tailored to your needs.
The evaluation fee is $90 and will be applied toward the cost of your training program should you choose to purchase and pay for a private training package at the time of the evaluation.
Private lessons are the most effective way to address behavior issues and build a strong working relationship with your dog. Together, we will establish goals and then work one-on-one to achieve those goals and alleviate unwanted behaviors.
Private lessons will begin in your home and neighborhood. We will then progress to meeting in public downtown areas to introduce more unexpected circumstances and distractions for your dogs. I am the guide, you are the teacher, and your dog is the student. Each lesson is approximately 45 minutes, once per week, for the duration of your selected package. Training methods do not rely on food, although treats will be used intermittently for concept training. The primary rewards are verbal praise and physical affection.
